Domaine de Majas Côtes Catalanes 2015

Medium ruby in colour, purple hues.  On the nose, this wine offers raspberry and cherry notes along with dusty earth.  The palate is dry, medium bodied and has a great balance between fruit and acidity.  The concentrated red berry fruit flavours, along with hints of chorizo and spice makes for an interesting, juicy finish.  Minimal use of sulphites. Edoardo Miroglio is located in the Thracian Valley in the village of Elenovo, Bulgaria.  Aged in stainless steel tanks, this white blend of Viognier (57%) and Gewurtraminer (43%) has well expressed citrus fruit, red delicious apples and cantaloupe.  This wine has lots of charm and energy with its floral and mineral notes along with a very bright acidity.  A delightful salty and slightly creamy finish, this is a great wine that will partner well with many summer dishes. Pewsey Vale Riesling Eden Valley 2016

Pale lemon in colour.  The nose displays candied lime, crisp green apples and hints of white peach. The medium bodied palate has a solid amount of lemon-lime flavours, supported by a very decent amount of acidity.  As the wine hits the back palate, the minerality shines through, with layers of citrus fruit and slight honeydew.   This wine shows great length and will benefit from 3-4 years in the cellar. Pure and delicious.
